Assessment and management of a concussion: A clinical primer

This 3 hour (3 CE credit) asynchronous online course is designed for primary care or primary contact providers, aiming to equip them with an evidence-based approach to the management of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI)/concussion and its persistent symptoms. 

Learning Outcomes

  • Conduct assessments of concussions both during on-field evaluations and within clinical settings, and determine when a referral is necessary

  • Comprehend the prognosis associated with concussions

  • Implement management strategies for both acute and persistent concussion symptoms

Learners must complete the knowledge evaluation at the end of the course to receive a personalized certificate of completion (3 CE credit).
